Book Synopsis

Lindsey Love’s career as a food critic is suddenly taking off when she’s approached by Food and Travel to take her show to Europe. What could be more fun than to travel with her best friend Patrick, eat amazing food, and see the sights? What she doesn’t bargain for is the surly, egotistical producer with the icy glare, dimples, and a penchant for questioning her every move.

Nick Elliot, ex-Navy SEAL turned producer, finds himself suddenly thrown into a project he doesn’t want to take on. Producing a snotty food critic’s show over in Europe is not at the top of his agenda. She’s stubborn, sassy, and he finds himself inextricably drawn to her.

When things go awry abroad, Nick has to make the decision to save his own future or give up everything to protect Lindsey.

Book Review

Lindsey Love Loves is another winner from Sophia Sinclair, the queen of contemporary romance!

What better way to say goodbye to the Coffee Girls series than by blessing us with a new feel good romantic comedy? Sophie Sinclair has a signature style of writing that is fun, easy to read and extremely hilarious!!

Lindsey is a sassy food blogger waiting to land the television series of a lifetime with a big network. Nick was a mystery to me and still kinda is with his secretive NAVY seals past and sudden departure from that into film making. Together they are forced to work together by the network to produce Lindsey’s first series. I mean what could go wrong between a hyperactive food blogger and her producer who refuses to acknowledge his feelings for her?

I’m normally not a fan of insta-love but LLL managed to give me insta-attraction and I am totally down for it. I loved the sizzle of first attraction with Nick and Lindsey and its progression throughout the book was dynamite. This was a slow burn done right with all the looks of longing and accidental hand touching.

I enjoyed that LLL wasn’t just a typical romance but had a complex backstory that was quite an action packed adventure. There was a thin veil of mystery surrounding their activities that served to heighten the suspense and add a nice layer of complexity to the story.

My absolute favorite part of the book definitely has to be all the FOOD!!!!! You can tell Sophie did her research from the variety and complexity of the food offerings to the fun and exciting locations.

Another aspect that was unexpected but highly entertaining is old lady Bixsby. If you are reading this review, do not be fooled by her moniker, she is a mean ole bat out to suck the fun and joy out of everything with her talks of harlots and her anti Amazon ways.

Lindsey Love Loves is a great read for those who enjoy rival romances between sassy females and a headstrong male.

Huge thank you Sophie Sinclair for providing me wit an arc of he novel in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts expressed are my own.

About the Author

When I was fourteen I won a writing competition at school for a short story based off of the book The Secret Garden. My prize was a beloved copy of Anne of Green Gables and to have my story published in the school newsletter.

I won that writing award again my junior year for a poem that I still remember vividly. But I was also artistic and I was pushed by others to follow that passion and my writing became dormant.

I’ve always loved reading and soon stories started to bloom in my head whispering to be told, until one day I picked up my laptop and started the journey. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a love story.

My wish is that my story makes you smile, maybe even laugh, and hopefully swoon. I live in Davidson NC with my husband and two daughters, 3 dogs, a cat named Pickles and a guinea pig named Fluff.
